Belgian waffle recipe 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
2 ¼ tsp. active dry yeast
2 TBL sugar
1 tsp salt
1 ¾ cups milk
¼ cup water OR ½ cup apple butter
¼ cup butter
3 eggs

1. In a large bowl combine flour, yeast, sugar and salt; mix well.
2. Heat milk, water and butter until very warm (but not too hot!).
3. Add to flour mixture.
4. Add eggs. Using an electric mixer blend at low speed until moistened; beat 1 minute at medium speed.
5. Cover bowl with plastic wrap; refrigerate several hours or overnight. (Be prepared – batter will double in size!)
